Our gratitude goes to the team for an exceptional dining experience we had at the restaurant tonight. We decided to try our luck without a reservation, and despite the restaurant being packed, the lovely server offered us a table outside under the heaters, which we gratefully accepted. They even offered blankets!!!! Despite how busy it was, our orders were taken within five minutes, and our food was served within 20 minutes. The pizza was superb, the chicken was tender, and the kids' portions were generous. We discovered Al Forno by chance, but we'll definitely be back the next chance we get—this time with a reservation!

We had the most beautiful dinner. We had pizza and seafood crepe for starters. Eye fillet for main and creme brulee and Tiramisu for dessert. Everything was on the spot, fast service and lovely Melanija serving us. True Italian experience with authentic food, wood fire . Big recommendation

I booked Al Forno for a friend's bday it just so happened to be on an evening when the Takapuna Mid-Winter Light Festival was happening so glad we booked as the restaurant seemed very popular. Gorgeous intimate setting with a lovely candlelit ambience. Wood-fired pizza classic pasta dishes alongside favourite mains. The staff were all super warm and friendly and the smell from the kitchen was mouthwatering There was a huge variety of beautiful Italian reds and whites to accompany and compliment your meal. We chose the creamy chicken cabonara and the filetto aglio both dishes were amazing and cooked to perfection will have to come back to try the dessert as we were too full this time but they looked delicious thank you for a stunning experience, highly recommended for a romantic dinner for two or a special family meal out. We will definitely be back!
